DESCRIPTION

Athletes experience joint and tissue wear from training, competition, injuries, and aging. Supporting connective and soft tissues is essential to maintain performance and promote long-term joint and tissue health.

INGREDIENTS

The Science - What's in the Collagen Recharge formula?

  • Collagen - the main protein that makes up our tendons, ligaments, bones and cartilage. Aids repair and recovery.
  • Glucosamine - the building blocks for joint cartilage.
  • Vitamin C - key roles in the formation of collagen, muscle tissue & blood vessels. Also involved in elastin production (strengthens connective tissues)
  • Turmeric - a potent anti-inflammatory spice which reduces inflammation and soreness, also providing pain relief.
  • Zinc - roles in wound healing, tissue regeneration and repair.
DIRECTIONS

1. To Support Injury Recovery & Rehabilitation: In the initial phase of injury, take two shots daily—one with breakfast and another 30 minutes before rehabilitation. Taking a shot before rehab helps target nutrients to the injured area. Once rehab progresses, reduce to a maintenance dose of one shot per day.

2.  To Support Chronic Joint Issues: Take 1 shot daily as a joint support & protection aid. Turmeric, a widely used and effective anti-inflammatory spice, will also provide immediate pain relief for the athlete.

FAQ

This product contains antioxidants - Will this impact my training adaptations?

Inflammation following training is involved in creating adaptations (therefore anti-inflammatory products may be advised against when looking to maximize adaptation). However, from years of working in elite sport, Jon Williams (PAS Director + Head of Nutrition at the Welsh Rugby Union) advises "Nothing limits adaptations like the inability to train due to joint pain!"
